Christmas in New Zealand

This time we will introduce Christmas in New Zealand.
When I went to an exhibition in Christchurch on the South Island of New Zealand to purchase Glamorous Goat products, I stayed at one of them. The person said to me, ``December is the best time to travel to New Zealand!''
December is the Christmas season, but New Zealand is located in the southern hemisphere, opposite Japan in the northern hemisphere. December is winter in Japan, but December in New Zealand is midsummer.
It may not be a big deal to Japanese people, but in New Zealand, Christmas occurs in the middle of summer.
New Zealand ranks first among specific religions, with 36.5% Christian. (The largest number of respondents were non-religious at 48.2%.) Regarding ethnicity, European descent was the largest at 70.2%. Of course Christmas is a big event.
Last year, the family of the representative of my business partner, Glamorous Goat, traveled from New Zealand to my parents' home in South Africa for Christmas vacation.
By the way, the 25th of December is Christmas Day, and the following day, the 26th, is Boxing Day, both public holidays. And January 1st and 2nd will be New Year's Day.
One of New Zealand's most famous Christmas events is the Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, which has been held in Christchurch and Auckland since 1994.
